Storyline:
Chicago's about to get its first casino. Aside from all the other judges, lawyers and alderman who expect their cut of anything and everything that moves in the City, Alderman Ringenhauser is all that stands in the way of one of Dawiseguys getting the contract for waste removal from the casino. While the negotiations are just beginning, the outcome is anything but predictable. In the sub-story, Mickey's son is suspended from school and the real reason is still to come.

Part 1
Stubs Guglione is having a hard time getting the contract for waste removal at the Chicago's first casino. Alderman Ringenhauser is all that stands in his way. Politicians cost money and Stubs isn't in the mood to pay more than he thinks he should so he goes to his guy Mickey who's in the process of helping Stubs master 'The Art Of Negotiation' with the help of strippers Peaches and Cream. Rat Bastard opens the episode (Joe Farina voiced the character of Rat Bastard for the first two episodes)

With a plan of action to insure that the mob's guy gets the very lucrative contract to handle all the refuse from the city's first casino, Mickey's wife (Lisa Savegnago) has some bad news to deliver to Mickey concerning one of his sons. Bernie The Lenz gets ready for an assignment to capture 'the moment'.

Peaches and Cream's services are put into action to help the mob open 'negotiatians' for the city's contract on its first casino. Alderman Ringenhauser proves that politicians do have a 'playful' side and Rat Bastard has a unique way of pointing it all out.

After a long night of setting up negotiations at Mickey's club ('The Fire Alarm'), he gets a call from Dockie (John D'Andrea) who runs one of the mob's lucrative card games where the underworld meets our judges, lawyers and aldermen like Alderman Cunningham (Alex Kazhinsky) who is there for a late night negotiation to cover his losses on the night's card game. [Just like] a 2AM meeting where the politicians give themselves raises for a job badly done, this 'meet' happens in one of the mob's 'offices', namely, Dockie's restaurant - after hours. Rat Bastard (Frankie Hollywood Rodriguez) lays it all out in his wicked explanation of what's really happening.

After a long day, Mickey finally makes it home where his wife Maria (Lisa Savegnago) goes over an issue affecting one of his sons, (Nicky) at school. Vince, their other son has a little fun with it all as Maria tries to explain one of the many lessons in life to Nicky. Mickey's idea of how to deal with his son's 'bad behavior' may be a bit different than most parents and Rat Bastard's right there to explain it all

Problems and aggravation keeps piling on for Mickey. His long day starts at one of his many businesses where Stubs has some explainin’ to do. Stubs has an issue with fairness and Mickey reminds Stubs that fair is just a state of mind. Rat Bastard's commentary points out the ironies.
